Hi there,

It's time for our mid-month inspiration blog hop with Graciellie Design and Westcottbrand Giveaway!  I'm featuring Sprinkled With Love  one of 5 new sets for April so I decided to make a watercolor card using a clear acetate card base.
We are featuring Westcottbrand all month.  Have you tried their precision scissors?? Westcottbrand is giving away 2 pairs of precision scissors to one lucky winner.  Please comment on all team blogs plus  Graciellie Design blog for a chance to win the scissors!

Winner from May 1st is announced over on the Graciellie Design blog so please see list below and get hopping! See my pics below and lets get started!

For watercoloring this Bristol Smooth surface paper works great!
Just don't oversaturate with water and it won't warp. I
cut it to fit printer and printed out image.

I trimmed watercolor paper so I could watercolor my image.
I used the Westcottbrand 9inch paper trimmer to trim bristol smooth paper.

Choose watercolor medium. I used Kuretake.

Grab the rest of your supplies, mat, watercolor brushes:
Silver Black Velvet sizes 1,2 and 4. I don't use a water brush on this
paper as I want to control water flow. Paper towel and image.

Here are the colors I used. I splatted some bluish gold
and let dry completely before putting card together.

I used a pre-made clear acetate card base. I changed the color
to go inside to a darker pink with a faint stripe on it.

Here's my finished card. I added a piece of gold heart vellum,
die cut balloons, tiny hearts and bow. I cut the vellum with 9 in paper trimmer
,

Happy coloring and cutting!
